Tears of Joy Packets
I know both our families are emotional and seem to cry at events such as these. To help those people out, we have created small "tears of joy" packets that contain tissue to wipe misty eyes. They were probably the most simple DIY project I have done, but I loved how they turned out.
Materials
I used the following materials to create the packets:
- #3 Glassine Envelopes
- Black & White damask ribbon
- Small rectangular stickers from VistaPrint.com
- Pre-folded travel tissue
- Glue dots
The Process
- Before you can start stuffing, ensure that the pre-folded tissues fit your envelopes. If not, refold them.
- Place 1-3 tissues in each envelope depending on the number you think each person will use.
- Measure a piece of ribbon to wrap around each packet. Use this as a guide to cut additional pieces.
- Using glue dots, adhere the unfinished ends to the back (where the flap is) of the envelope. Don't worry if they don't meet.
- Place a sticker over the ribbon ends on the back (flap side) of the envelope to seal
And you are done! Super easy!
